  8. Now something more complicated. I need to know, if your Internet provider
  9. want you to manualy log into system, or if those weird characters
  10. appear immediately after connecting to your provider's
  11. modem with traditional modem terminal (it is PPP protocol).
  12. If you have to log in first, you will need
  13. terminal window to do this (later, you can think about some scripting,
  14. but let's try to get online manually first).

  16. Of course, you may wish to use terminal window
  17. just to see what happens when modem is dialing the phone number.
  18. Anyway - don't forget to leave the terminal mode using <B>F7</B> key
  19. (like in Windows 95).
